Duties and Responsibilities;
Establish and develop liaison between Kenya Wildlife Service, Conservation agencies and organization and the County government and promotes conservation through community engagement.
Provide conservation education to the general public.
Identify potential project ideas and activities in line with the wildlife section.
Liaise with Kenya Wildlife Service and other conservation agencies on behalf of the County departments.
Prepare and provide the management with reports statistics forecaster and other information necessary for effective planning and development.
Coordinate compilation of information and data from the industry and maintain a data base.
Identify community enterprise method to conservation.
Promote community enterprise – income generating activities (IGAs)
Requirements for appointment;
Be a Kenyan Citizen
Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Management, Natural Resources, Range Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Have relevant knowledge and experience in a technical position in public service or private sector for at least three years in the field Wildlife Management and Conservation.
