Workshop Maintenance Manager

Our Client, a busy FMCG (Food) Company, based in Mombasa with a large fleet of heavy commercial vehicles to support the business, wishes to identify an experienced Workshop Maintenance Manager situated within the premises of the Company.
The ideal candidate, who will be tasked to ensure smooth and efficient running of a busy Workshop, will be well-versed with Automotive Workshop operations, even if he/she does not have auto mechanic training, per-se. Most importantly, the successful candidate will have:
Ø Attained a good education level, although not necessarily at university level;
Ø At least 5+ years’ experience in a similar role;
Ø Experienced in supervising busy workshops, mainly involved in maintenance of heavy commercial vehicles;
Ø A mature mindset with high levels of integrity and team management abilities;
Ø Experience with maintenance of vehicles, related parts and the accessories;
Ø Experience as a good organizer and planner;
Ø Good communication skills, both written and verbal;
Ø Good follow-up skills;
Ø Experience in records management and documentation.
