Workshop Manager

A group of companies that are in different sectors i.e. Engineering, Construction, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Security and Medical Equipment’s is seeking to recruit a Workshop Manager to be based in Nairobi. The ideal candidate must have managed and led a team in the allocation of workload and managing the day to day operations in the workshop. Additionally, the successful candidate must have a solid technical background in the Automotive Industry.

Responsibilities

Ensure that clients are accurately and promptly invoiced
Investigate customer complaints arising from repairs and maintenance carried ou

Identify client’s needs and explain/demonstrate the companies services to them

Regularly report progress on each job and quickly communicate delays or concerns

Coordinate and manage the safety and compliance of subcontractors

Manage the maintenance of workshop facilities and fixed equipment

Providing all fields with the technical assistance that they require from the Workshop

Supervise and follow up on actual progress on each individual repair job

Ensure service and productivity are maintained in accordance with work schedules

Research, forecast and order spare parts for specific jobs
Oversee workshop operations

Job Requirements
Required education
: Bachelor's degree

Required relevant work experience
: 5 years

Required languages:
English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)
