V/NO. 9/2021Gross Salary Scale: 90,000-130,000Leave allowance: As existing in the CommissionAnnual Leave: 30 working days per financial yearMedical Cover: As existing in the CommissionTerms of Service: Permanent and PensionableDuties and Responsibilities Prepares payment vouchers and imprestExamination of vouchers and committal documents in accordance with laid down rules and regulationsSorts and Files accounting records and documentsPosts payments and receipts in the cash book on daily basisMaintains and updates voucher movement registersUpdates and maintains imprest registersInvoices of payment vouchers and imprests in the IFMISPrepares and updates receipts and payment schedulesProcesses requests for daily subsistence allowances QualificationsFor appointment to this position, one must have: Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Accounting or FinanceHave at least CPA II or its equivalentProficiency in computer applicationsMeet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya
