Accountant

Our client in real estate is seeking to recruit an Accountant who will be based in Westlands. He/ She will be responsible for managing all aspects of bookkeeping needs which include preparation of monthly VAT returns and processing payroll. Successful candidates Must have at least 4 years of working experience as an Accountant and experience using Sage software is a must. Experience working in an Accounting Firm is an added advantage. The ideal candidate should have a car as the role involves visits to clients’ sites.Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly VAT return.Processing monthly payroll.Ensuring all payments are processed before deadlines.Processing withholding tax deductions and payments.Maintaining and updating manual and computer records.Assisting with resolving any relevant client queries.Building and developing relationships with clients. Qualifications: Must have a relevant bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.Must be CPA (K) or ACCA finalist.Must have a minimum of 4 years working in a similar role.Must have experience using Sage.Must be computer literate.Must be organized, accurate and detail-oriented.
