Job Summary

VFS Group, a micro-enterprise support services company seeks to recruit a capable and integral candidate for the position of Accounts Assistant.

Job Description

Overall Responsibility
To ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial transactions and records.

Job Roles
Maintaining petty cash and cashbooks

Reconcile cashbooks with bank statements and forward any reconciling items in time
Processing of payments to clients and suppliers
Reconciliation of general ledgers
Make all the necessary preparations for External audits

Qualifications
Minimum of a completed CPA part II
A Diploma in Finance, Business or related area
Proficiency in computer applications - Ms Excel and Quick-books is essential
Should be 25 years and above
Have a minimum of grade C Plus at KCSE
Be a person of high integrity, with good interpersonal skills and a team player.
Hold a valid certificate of good conduct (mandatory)
Excellent verbal and written communication
Experience in the microfinance sector is a definite advantage
Preferred candidate should be residing within or aroundUtawalaarea
