Africa Commercial Lead (Remote)

The Africa Regional Sales Lead will report to the EMEA Commercial Lead and assume a key role in acquiring and managing key customer accounts for the company, with a focus on the African market.

Responsibilities

Business Development:Battery Supply

• Develop new leads for prospective battery supply customers in multiple verticals, including but not limited to energy storage developers, electronics manufacturers and electronics recyclers

• Manage end-to-end process of outbound engagement from lead generation to securing contractual relationships with new customers

• Manage all necessary contract documentation including one-time service agreements, master service agreements, vendor setup documentation, and billing for specified accounts

By-product and End Product Off-take

• Identify potential customers for the offtake of streams for Spoke by-products, (e.g. plastics and shredded metals), as applicable

Logistics

• Manage permitting and logistics processes of shipping batteries across borders within EMEA region and/or to North America

Market Intelligence

• Monitor competitors in region including business activities, technology, expansion plans

• Monitor policy initiatives in region and advise corporate development team of any relevant developments
