Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agency Counsel to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing legal counsel and guidance to our clients on matters related to government agencies, regulatory compliance, and administrative law. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative law, regulations and compliance, and outstanding communication skills to effectively represent our clients in a variety of administrative proceedings. Key Responsibilities: • Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on regulatory compliance matters, including but not limited to government agency regulations and policies. • Advise clients on the impact of proposed legislation and regulations on their business operations. • Conduct legal research and analysis on administrative law and regulatory issues. • Represent clients in administrative proceedings before state and federal agencies. • Draft legal documents, including petitions, pleadings, and other filings related to administrative proceedings. • Collaborate with other attorneys and internal teams to develop effective strategies and solutions for clients. • Stay updated on relevant industry trends and changes in administrative law, regulations, and policies. • Handle any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the senior management team. Qualifications: • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. • Admitted to practice law in the state of [Insert State]. • At least 5 years of experience practicing administrative law. • Prior experience in a government agency, or in-house counsel for a regulated industry is preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong research and analytical skills. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
