Bachelor’s degree in agronomy or related field· 3 years+ sales experience as an agronomist:· Experience in on-the-ground selling of fertilizer or related products· Experience with organic products· Experience with distributors and agro-dealers· Existing contacts and network within the farming community· Hands-on sales person with great people skills· Driven and go-getter· Thrive on challenges in a fast growing innovative start-up culture· Self-starter, show initiative and work under pressure· Excellent organizational and communicational skills· High level of integrityManage the sales of compost in agricultural areas in and around Nairobi Metropolitan AreaBuild and manage relationships with distributors and agro-dealersManage field trialsOrganize sales and marketing eventsTeach farmers, farmer groups and distributors on compost and its benefitsClosely tracking and reporting sales and marketing activitiesProactively help customers by answering questions and responding to their requestsSend appropriate information and technical reports to the clients for quotationManage existing customers and build a new clientele baseDaily and weekly reporting to the Sales Team ManagerManage leads tracking, online database, and scheduling
