Our client, a reputable company in the automotive industry dealing with auto spares and accessories located in Dubai, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Purchase Manager to join their highly skilled team and is open to recruiting candidates from Kenya with experience in Japanese automotives export procedures.THE JOBAs a Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for orchestrating the procurement processes of Japanese auto parts, ensuring a seamless supply chain and inventory management. Your role will involve strategic sourcing from reputable suppliers, negotiating contracts for the best value, and maintaining quality standards to meet the company's operational requirements in Dubai.MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.Develop and execute strategic purchasing plans for Japanese truck parts.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure the best quality and cost.Stay abreast of market trends and advancements in the automotive parts industry.Collaborate with the sales and inventory teams to forecast demand and manage stock levels.Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies.Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure the company obtains the best quality products at the most competitive prices.Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the sales team to forecast demand and ensure sufficient stock is available.Stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions to identify new suppliers and potential cost savings opportunities.Oversee the purchasing process and ensure orders are processed efficiently and accurately.Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and accounting, to ensure smooth operations.REQUIREMENTSThe job holder should have the following requirements.Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing within the automotive industry, with a specific focus on Fuso, Canter, and Isuzu vehicles.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and inventory management software.Specific expertise in Japan truck parts is highly preferred.THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOBThe ideal candidate should possess the following skills and competencies.Strong negotiation skills to secure the best deals with suppliers.Excellent analytical abilities to assess market trends and pricing.Knowledge of the automotive industry to understand specific needs and requirements.Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.Strategic thinking to develop and implement cost-saving strategies.Proficiency in supply chain management and procurement processesAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise in the purchasing process.WHAT WE ARE OFFERING THE RIGHT PERSONWe are offering the following for the successful candidate:A competitive gross salary of 10,000 AED Per Month.Accommodation and transport Allowance.Air ticket to move to Dubai.
