About GCCM

Global Catholic Climate Movement is an international network of Catholic people and 750 member organizations, all working together to develop solutions to the climate crisis. We are led by the Holy Spirit, and we find joy and support in our faith and each other. We act at the forefront of faith-based efforts to protect the environment, and our work is very fast-paced, with multiple projects and priorities managed daily. We enjoy a collaborative working environment in which everyone is committed to tackling the climate crisis with courage and love. We believe as Pope Francis said in Laudato Si’, that “truly, much can be done!”

About the role:

The GCCM Secretariat is seeking an intern to help with the day to day contact and emailing and administration for its new integrated biodiversity and climate advocacy campaigns. ”Since everything is closely interrelated, and today’s problems call for a vision capable of taking into account every aspect of the global crisis, I suggest that we now consider some elements of integral ecology, one which clearly respects its human and social dimensions.” (LS 137) With the great acceleration of the climate emergency and biodiversity collapse, GCCM will take a prophetic integral advocacy approach in caring for our common home.
