The Branch Manager will be responsible for achievement of business targets and effective management of branch operations within regulatory framework and the Company’s policies and risk guidelines.
Qualifications
Degee / Diploma in Business or Customer Relations course.
At least Three (3) years continuous experience in branch management, finance, sales or a relevant business role.
Training on Microfinance Banking Marketing plan and policies & procedures
Computer literate -MS-Office proficient – in particular Excel and Word.
Responsibilities
RecruitingSales team leaders and providing training, coaching, development andmotivation to all NCL personnel at the Branch.
Coach the sales team on product knowledge andmaking the most of cross-selling opportunities.
Liaise with the Sales Team Leaders and developnew business opportunities by pro-actively marketing for lendingopportunities from current and prospective clients.
Gain a sound understanding of the different localmarket segments in the branch’s area of operation.
Manage the sales tracking system and providecoaching and feedback to the team.
Collect market information from competitorproducts and levels of service.
Manage and monitor budget for the branch
Provide leadership in performance management,employee development, talent management and building a work environmentthat drives high performance and employee satisfaction.
Entrench a risk aware culture and develop riskself-assessment capability to identify, evaluate, mitigate and monitor.
Maintain good quality loan book by ensuringarrears on normal and watch accounts are collected promptly
Monitor internal controls to ensure theiradequacy and effectiveness.
Build and maintain relationship with customers tothe mutual benefit of both the customer and the company.
Ensure that customer service standards are setand maintained in line with the requirements of each market segment.
Verification of the file received from the credit officer andcounter checking to ensure that all supporting documentation attached aresufficient to process a loan, of which is also centrally saved appropriately inthe local server.
Ensure debt collection andrecovery procedures are followed to the latter in accordance with the companyrisk policies and procedures.
