Summit Recruitment and Search Africa is a leading Recruitment and Executive Search agency head quartered in Kenya providing outstanding talent to a wide range of companies and NGOs in various business sectors across Africa.Our client a Training and Consulting company that focuses on performance improvement for organizations is seeking to hire a Business Development Executive to be based in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entirety of the client experience, collaborating with colleagues to enhance the lifetime value of our client relationships. This entails nurturing crucial customer connections and serving as a liaison between sales and retention procedures. The ideal candidate Must have a Relevant Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 4 years' experience in Business development for a learning and training institution, experience in account management and exceptional problem solving, communication and high intelligence. Key Responsibilities· Demonstrate effective self-leadership and collaboration with Client Partners, Business Delivery team, and clients to ensure the success of all initiatives.· Create, manage, and execute comprehensive project plans for the successful onboarding of new learning journeys and projects.· Maintain clarity on operational and logistical support for internal stakeholders and client partnerships to ensure smooth operations.· Customize contractual agreements and ensure timely execution by all parties involved.· Provide first-level support for clients, addressing queries promptly and resolving complex issues within defined timeframes.· Develop a strong understanding of solutions, processes, and systems to effectively support clients.· Attend client meetings alongside Client Partners as required.· Proactively drive the achievement of strategic initiatives such as multiyear deals and increased user engagement on learning platforms.· Plan and facilitate Quarterly and Annual Business Review meetings with clients, ensuring effective communication and follow-up.· Monitor and track client impact journeys, recommending necessary changes to exceed client expectations.· Analyze client performance on the 4DX Platform and collaborate with relevant stakeholders for required actions.Qualifications· Relevant Bachelor's degree.· Must have a minimum of 4 years' experience in Business development for a learning and training institution.· Must have exceptional problem-solving skills, along with strong verbal and written communication abilities, and high emotional intelligence.· Must have experience in account management, sales, business development, and/or customer success is required.· Highly organized with robust project management expertise to effectively handle multiple client projects and ensure smooth operations.· Demonstrated proficiency in project management and successful contract execution.· Possesses analytical prowess to evaluate data and recommend enhancements for client success.
