Business Intelligence Intern

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, hardworking, and versatile BI Intern who will help us develop and maintain BI applications that serve our clientele. You will work closely with our team of analysts and report to the Projects Manager.

Job Description/Requirements

About the role
• Data analysis & visualization using Power BI
• Data mining, extraction, and predictive analytics using Python/R
• Contribute to database design and development activities
• Support user experience design and information architecture for BI applications
• Integrate BI applications/solutions with existing client software infrastructure
• Develop and maintain documentation to data analysis development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections

Academic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, BBIT, IT, Mathematics or Statistics

Desirable Skills
•Mustbe proficient in SQL/MySQL/MongoDB, Python/R (Certifications will be an added advantage)
•Mustbe knowledgeable in Power BI/Tableau or any other Visualization tool
•Mustpossess Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to mine, extract and analyze data using Python/R.
• Ability to automate data extraction, transformation and loading
• Ability to create and manage databases
• Ability to analyze and interpret data, identifying trends from data points with an attention to details
