Job Summary

Msingi Imara Christian School (MICS) is seeking qualifies candidates for the position of DEPUTY HEAD TEACHER beginning February 2021. MICS is a kindergarten and primary school with about 100 students that was established in 2016 and is located within Machakos town along Machakos-Kangundo road.

Job Description/Requirements

The mission of MICS is to provide a Christ-centered education
for students of all academic abilities, developing their full potential and inspiring
them to live for the glory of God. The ideal candidate will be one who
resonates with this mission and has a passion for Christ, leadership, and
education.

The deputy head teacher will assist the head
teacher in leading an academic and administrative team.

Qualifications
• One who has received Jesus Christ as saviour and lord.
• Registered P1 teacher. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Administrative experience at the appropriate level preferred.
• Good understanding of the CBC curriculum.

Responsibilities
• Implement the school’s mission and inspire students and staff to live for the glory of God.
• Insist in competent and efficient performance of both academic and administrative teams.
• Ensure all education ministry requirements are achieved.
• Mentor, nature and inspires others to achieve.
• Coordinates and administers parent communication.
• Schedule classes, students and staff maximizing available space and personnel.
