1. Served in the grade of Deputy Director Administration for a minimum period for a minimum period of three years or in a comparable and equivalent position in the public service or private sector.
2. Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines- Public Administration; Business Administration/ Management; Community Development or any other social science from a recognized institution.
3. Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: - Public Administration; Business Administration/ Management; Community Development or any other social science from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
4. Certificate in management course from a recognized institution
5. Have knowledge of ICT.
6. Meet requirement of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
Responsibilities
1. Administration of Governors service delivery unit
2. To be in charge of Performance Management in the unit
3. To put in place systems or innovative ways to implement programs and projects with high impacts and low delivery risk to the County.
4. Ensure that the Governors development priorities
5. Formulation and dissemination of policies, Programs and strategic plans
6. Representing the Chief Officer in various meetings and stakeholders forums
7. Coordinating the development and implementation of departmental strategic plans
8. Coordinating public service reforms
9. Ensuring development and review of departmental annual work plan and budgets
10. Ensuring compliance with principles and values of good management of departmental assets and finances
11. Overall management and development of staff.
12. Ensuring compliance with legal, statutory and regulatory requirements.
13. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
