B. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING
**5. ECDE Teacher III JOB GROUP CPSB 14 (10 POSTS)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
i. Teaching ECD classes, Students.
ii. Identifying, initiating, developing, facilitating, play, learning activities-enable Children enjoy living, learning through play in ECDE Centre.
iii. Designing, developing relevant play/learning materials for Children and Children with special needs.
iv. Liaising with the ECDE Centre/BOM-ECDE and EVT- Administration in the management of ECDE Centre.
v. Assisting the ECDE Centre Administration in the identification of Children with special needs and taking appropriate intervention and prevention measures.
vi. Participating in curricular development panels preparing and developing schemes of work, lesson plan, daily programme and activities, assessment, evaluation of Children progress and keeping all Professionals records.
vii. Teachers with special needs Certificate and Persons with Disability are encouraged to apply.
viii. Teachers with Management Skills in Special Education is an added advantage.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
i. Must be a Kenyan Citizen.
ii. A Certificate holder from a T.T.C. College (ECDE Certificate).
iii. Holder of Diploma is an added advantage.
iv. Must have five (5) years' experience in Education Teaching.
v. Must be ready to work anywhere in the County of Samburu.
vi. Must be below 45 years of age.
vii. Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Leadership and Integrity.
• Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation
• Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
• Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
• Clearance from the Ethics &Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
• Clearance from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
