Roles and responsibilities technical operator electrical

Trouble shooting and repair production equipment, electrical breakdown in timely manner.
Assist in development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedule of plant equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance of plant and equipment to reduce breakdown and attain availability of above 85%.
Install, maintain and repair plant electrical facilities
Propose and assist in implementation of continuous improvement of the project.
Liaise with plant engineer to ensure availability of electrical consumables for the plant
Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.

Qualifications

BSc in electrical or electrical and electronic engineering from a recognized institution
Advanced diploma in electrical or electrical and electronic engineering
At least six years professional experience in food processing industry.
Registered with relevant professional body
