Field Officers play a key role in being the face to face contact point for Kutoka Ardhini in the field. This important position is critical in developing Kutoka Ardhini’s overall business strategy and our commitment to putting farmers first throughout the essential and vegetable oil value chains. Field Officers recruit, oversee, and manage a portfolio of up to 150 contracted farmers spending most days in the field working closely with our farming partners and their crops to deliver essential and vegetable oil based raw materials to our processing partners.
Field officers conduct regular onsite and group training sessions, manage input distribution, loan administration, and harvest collection processes. The role will contribute to the economic development of rural farming communities and requires a firm commitment to the ethical production of natural products through Kutoka’s small holder farming networks.
Prior experience working in the Avocado industry is an added advantage.
Valid Motorbike license is a must have.

Reports to the Field Officer Supervisor
Manage a portfolio of up to 150 farmers with several different crops and harvest cycles
Provide advice, mentoring, and support to the farmers within the portfolio
Manage farming inputs, loan products, yield forecasts, and collection
Conduct onsite and group training sessions
Regularly gather data and create reports through the company IT platforms
Work closely with management to identify challenge areas and maximize yields for farmers
Job Requirements
Required education
: Bachelor's degree
Required relevant work experience
: 18 months
