Job Description
Reporting to Branch Manager/Sales & Marketing Manager, the job holder will be tasked with aggressively promoting the company’s products, identify customer needs and generate revenue through the conversion of sales opportunities
Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in sales and/or in a related field
Computer skills: Adept in the use of SAP, Ms. Word, Excel, Access, power-point, and the Internet.
Articulate and professional communication skills.
Results-driven individual
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position in Retail Setup
Attention to detail
Past experience is Retail- Hardware will be added advantage
Responsibilities
Plan field sales visit and ensure that they are followed accordingly.
Identify and shortlist customers that need senior management's attention and support to close deals, or collect a debt.
Receive and respond to customer inquiries.
Manage the sales pipeline to ensure that every deal is closed.
Constantly manage and communicate with key customers
Identify customers’ needs and propose the best solutions; optimize customers’ accounts and proactively cross-sell and upsell
Accurately analyses and assess sales reports and advise management on products, market intelligence, emerging competition, market dynamics, new opportunities, and elements of the company’s competitive advantages.
Identify and grow opportunities within an assigned territory to achieve set sales targets
Gathering Market and Customer information
Make proposals to the Marketing Department on the necessary marketing support that will help increase the company’s competitive advantage.
Ensure optimal customer experience through service given and follow up on all inquiries
Monitor product sales and ensure that customers are well informed of our product offering.
Coordinate with the Digital Marketing team in promotion and marketing the company’s products online.
Building and maintaining relationships with the new and existing clients
Identify marketing gaps and communicate to the Marketing Manager for action.
Keep track of all customers and preferences by serving as the main contact liaison and maintaining clear customer contacts in a database
Prepare monthly field sales analysis reports which include the following:-
Regional/Area sales activity report.
Customer coverage/ visit report.
Marketing activity impact report.
Ensure adequate collection of a debt owed by the company during the sales field visit and highlight non-responding customers on the matter of debt to the Accounts Department for support.
Promoting and Selling the company’s products to realize revenue
Job Requirements

: Diploma, Associate's degree
Required relevant work experience
: 3 years
