Our mission is to bridge the digital divide by providing high-quality, affordable digital services to businesses and organizations around the world.What are we looking for?We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall financial strategy of DDD Kenya. Duties cover the full spectrum of finance operations, budgeting and forecasting, preparation of management accounts, cash flow management and auditing. This role involves liaising with departments across the business lines, guiding senior executives in making sound business decisions in the long and short term.Job DescriptionOversee the end-to-end financial operations of the company in line with DDD's strategic goals and social mission.Build strong internal control processes by ensuring proper approvals and documentation of expensesOversee DDD's clients' inquiries regarding billing issues and investigate and resolve any irregularitiesOversee Ventures's AR collectionEnsure Tax compliance and that all returns are filed on time to avoid penaltiesEnsure compliance with financial regulations and standards.Perform financial management duties including generating financial data (financial statements, cash flow analyses, and forecasts), compiling and submitting reports, analyzing trendsParticipate in decision-making processes concerning company strategies and operations by advising senior executives on the financial implications of business decisions.Implement robust financial management frameworks, processes, and systemsDevelop and manage annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the country head. Assessing the financial health of the company by analyzing the company's financial performance and pinpointing areas for potential improvement.Fixed assets management and management of cash and other current assets/prudent utilization of fundsQualificationsA minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
