# Key responsibilities- Guide staff and their managers through the overseas working process, in-line with the King's Overseas Working Framework;- Act as a case manager, as the single point of contact for staff to provide support in the end-to-end management of their individual Global Staff Mobility case, working with Payroll, HR and external Vendors, as required;- Keep track of all Global Staff Mobility working cases and keep all data up to date. Provide accurate reports on this to various stakeholders;- Work with the Head of Global Mobility, analyse and apply tax and legal technical understanding provided in briefing documents, to relay the relevant information to staff and their managers, and senior staff, on the implications of a proposed or existing overseas working arrangement;- Maintain financial management of Global Mobility budgets, including recharging vendor costs, accruing for and chasing vendor fees, and providing financial reports to relevant stakeholders;- Initiate third party vendor services, where required;- Manage relocation expense process;- Participate in critical reviews and updating of Mobility related processes;- Take on additional globally focused projects, as and when required;- Identify any Policy breaches or Risks, and highlight these to relevant stakeholders;- Support the Head of Global Mobility in issuing communications to senior stakeholders, in order to maintain a consistent message of support to all staff. *The above list of responsibilities may not be exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post.* # Skills, knowledge, and experience **Essential criteria ** 1. Strong analytical skills and detailed orientated;2. Customer service skills and a service approach in your professional work;3. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in the written word, in person and through MS Teams calls;4. Strong numerate and IT skills, with the ability to use the standard suite of office software together with knowledge of one or more corporate Finance systems;5. Ability to build and manage internal and external relationships;6. Self-management and ability to work independently to meet deadlines;7. Attention to detail and working to a high-level of accuracy, especially within Excel;8. Understanding of the academic endeavour at King's; **Desirable criteria ** 1. Experience of having worked in a country other than your country of birth;2. General knowledge of expat tax, social security, law and immigration, salary/payroll issues, or willingness to learn this.
