Responsibilities

Developing sound, acceptable Debt Recovery Policies Analyze delinquent accounts and prepare report on highest risk accounts including recommendations for resolution.

Check for credit viability of defaulting customer requests and evaluate various adjustments or exception documents for approval

Maintain bad debt recovery records and ensure that the recoveries are aligned to target.

Monitor receivables and collections and provide updates of receivables and appropriate reporting procedures.

Identify problem accounts and provide regular updates of receivables to management.

Negotiate payment programs with delinquent customers.

Identify accounts requiring collection agency or legal action and coordinate collections with third party contractors.

Monitor violations of credit policies, provide analysis, conclusion and recommendations, present findings to senior management and suggest actions/penalties to be taken when appropriate

Develop processes and procedures for engagement with external service providers and ensure they are complied with.

Generates legal documents to facilitate litigation and recoveries of non-performing accounts.

Monitor, on a continuous basis, all transactions to ensure that unusual and suspicious transactions are reported to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO)

Implementing and enforcing the board approved AML, KYC & CFT policy in as far as is applicable within debt recovery.

Do any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the management
