HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS.
• Diploma / Bachelor of Education math /physics from a well-recognized college or university
• Two or more years of experience
• Fluent in English and Swahili
• Well developed and mature professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact with children teenagers, colleagues at all organizational levels
• Familiar with different modes of teaching styles
• Patient, innovative and knowledgeable of classroom management and student discipline
• Tutoring experience
• Dedicated and God fearing Christian

PRIMARY TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS.
• P1 certificate /Diploma in Education from a well-recognized college or university
• Two or more years of experience
• Must have a TSC number
• Fluent in English and Swahili
• Well developed and mature professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact with children teenagers, colleagues at all organizational levels
• Familiar with different modes of teaching styles in Kiswahili and science
• Patient, innovative and knowledgeable of classroom management and student discipline
• Tutoring experience
• Dedicated and God fearing Christian

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION.

The Duties and Responsibilities of the teachers will include but not limited to:
• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
• Develop schemes of work , lesson plans and students assessment reports
• Prepare classroom for class activities & be able to use relevant technology to support instruction
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
• Observe and evaluate student's performance and development
• Assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments
• Prepare required reports on students and activities
• Perform certain pastoral duties including student support, counselling students with academic problems and providing student encouragement
• Participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs and student organizations
• Participate in department, school meetings, parent meetings and scheduled trainings
• Keep abreast of developments in subject area, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities
• Communicating, consulting and co-operating with other members of the school staff, including those having posts of special responsibility and parents/guardians to ensure the best interest of students
