JOB TITLE IRRIGATION TECHNICIAN/SUPERVISOR
DEPT HORTICULTURE

JOB SUMMARY.
The employee shall perform duties and responsibility of irrigation supervision and repairs, which will be delegated to him /her by line manager.
The position is based on performance with the main deliverables Identified as:
•  Water and fertilizer use efficiency with minimum leakages and waste.
•  Design and deliver solutions that foster sustainable water use.
•  Provide effective and timely report to the agronomist for implementation.
•  Collaboration with field staff and communication to management.
•  Good machine maintenance and service.
•  Proper record keeping.
The candidate to have the following qualifications. •  Degree, diploma, certificate in Plumbing or experience in the same fields.
•  Good knowledge of NMC machine operation and automation.
•  Knowledge in pump fitting and installation and repairs will be an added advantage.
