Responsibilities and duties
• Develop reliable metrics for hardware, software and storage while ensuring strategic capacity planning
• Communicate clearly with administrative and health care staff as well as patients and vendors
• Oversee the operation of server systems
• Identify security vulnerabilities and eliminate them with strategic solutions that increase data safety
• Direct and support implementation of software and hardware upgrades
• Identify and recommend new technology solutions that we can implement in our department
• Manage the clinic's help desk
IT Director Qualifications and skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Programming, Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years' management experience in an IT environment
• 2+ years' experience working with EMR/EHR systems
• Microsoft Windows certificates highly desirable
• Experience providing IT solutions in a clinical environment preferred

Our health care clinic needs an IT Director to take over the infrastructure oversight of all technical operations. We need a hands-on professional who enjoys rolling up his or her sleeves and working with the team to achieve goals, meet quotas, eliminate security risks and increase patient satisfaction. The successful candidate will be a change management expert and extremely knowledgeable about the hierarchical infrastructure of health care information systems. You will be responsible for our entire systems administration team and will report directly to the CTO. Your operations and system maintenance experience will help our systems grow as we expand.
