Role Purpose:The Junior Business Analyst (BA) assists in identifying and defining the requirements for change, aiming to enhance how Save the Children utilizes its workforce, processes, and technology. This role involves analyzing data, forecasting financial outcomes, and offering advice to their project teams.Experience and SkillsEssential:Advanced analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills (written & oral English), including the ability to communicate and present both at a technical and non-technical levelStrong interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate/mediate; to facilitate the resolution of conflicting business requirementsAbility to support the creation of compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimationsIntellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areasAbility to effectively prioritise work and agree priorities with the Project ManagerDemonstrates a strong work ethic and able to take the initiative and ownership to deliver value to the businessCultural awareness and experience of delivering solutions internationallyDesirable:Non-profit sector knowledge/experience (especially international development projects)Second language – French, Spanish or Arabic
