Legal Officer

A leading brand in Outdoor advertising andwith regional presence is seeking to hire a Legal Officer.Reporting to the Legal Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting in general supervision of the companylegal services.

We are seeking for an individual with solid legal andinterpersonal skills, a team player, diligent, highly motivated, able to work in a high pressure, tight deadline environment requiring multi-tasking.
QualificationsBachelors of Law degree (LL.B) from a recognized University

Post graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of law

An advocates of the High Court of Kenya.

Minimum 3 years working experience in a corporate environment or busylaw firm.

Knowledge in providing legal services, managing claims, administrativehearing, court rules and procedures and conveyancing. Litigation experienceis highly desirable

Ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

Liaising with the county government to keep track of county outdoorregulations
Monitor outdoor advertising regulations and carrying out functions for theoutdoor advertising association of Kenya.

Advising the company and ensuring that they cater to the company’s bestinterest.

Supervision of legal claims.

Liaison with company lawyers in preparation for case hearing.

Provision of requisite legal services to the company.

Drafting and revision of legal documents and conveyance.

Custodian of securities and other contracts.
Any other related duties as assigned.
