Our organization is currently seeking a Personal Assistant with a Business Development background to join our Team. The Business Development position is responsible for profitable revenue growth. Client interactions will be anchored in the spirit of establishing strategic long term, mutually beneficial business partnerships and will utilize consultative selling skills. The qualified candidate is an aggressive hunter, creative, flexible, and committed to success.
RESPONSIBILITY
• Develops implements and strategies plans in support of company objectives.
• Directs and develops communication involving project needs, status updates and technical advice. Recommends opportunities and solutions for process improvements.
• Acts as a mentor and subject matter expert to the less experienced developers in terms of technical guidance and project management.
• Uses objectivity on project work by practicing the scientific method of defining the question, gathering, and recording information, forming a hypothesis, performing experiment, analysing data, interpreting data, and drawing conclusions.
• Influences and leads the application of learnings, creativity, and technical knowledge to add value through innovation.
• Facilitates activities necessary to take more complex and innovative projects from conceptualization through commercialization working with project constraints of time, target, and budget. Manages complex schedule and coordinates meetings with internal and external parties across multiple time zones utilizing multiple calendars.
• Compiling meeting agendas for weekly Senior Management team meetings
• Coordinates travel schedules and arrangements collects required travel documentation.
• Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and important external clients
• Composes and types of routine e-mail correspondence.
• Handles extremely heavy phones and acts as back up for the marketing team.
• Prepares and processes expense reports in accordance. Ensures the timely processing of expenses utilizing the latest electronic processes for payment.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Business Administration
• 6 + years in related field.
• Time management, project management, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal savvy, prioritization.
• Ability to think strategically, ability to communicate and collaborate effectively, able to manage multiple tasks within various projects; ability to be self-directed as it relates to personal development; ability to create, develop, and foster effective working relationships.
• Develop, write, and support end-user documentation that includes high-level technical content, reference material, and detailed, task-specific work instructions.
• Comply with best practices established on writing style, format, and content.
• Explore complex technical products and provide technically accurate and audience-focused documents for new and existing functionality in software and hardware.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma and 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Exceptional English writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop product understanding by working closely with product developers in an Agile development environment.
• Ability to design and organize document structure.
• Understanding of accepted technical writing style conventions
• Experience in writing technical documents.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong research skills
• High degree of professionalism and the ability to interface well with Senior Level management
• Experienced with advanced international travel bookings and able to navigate meticulous itineraries and demands.
• Ability to work independently and show a very strong sense of initiative and intuition.
• Demonstrate initiative by confidently self-starting improvements to office procedures, reports and processes and requires minimal supervision.
• Pays attention to multiple details and multiple tasks while minimizing errors.
• Must be able to practise confidentiality.
• Demonstrates experience working in, and a positive attitude toward a rapidly changing business environment.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and administrative skills, together with developed interpersonal skills, telephone manner and attention to details.
• Accounting background is an added advantage.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Desire to seek continuous improvements and innovation.
• Experience in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
