Principal Security Officer

1. Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology/Security Science or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
2. Must have at least three (3) years working experience as Senior Security Officer or comparable position.
3. Must have worked with any of the Disciplined Forces of Kenya for at least ten (10) years
4. Must have a clean Discharge Certificate
5. Must possess Certificate of Good Conduct
6. Must possess First Aid Certificate
7. Must possess Fire Fighting Certificate
8. Must be Computer literate
9. Must be medically and physically fit.
10. Meet requirement of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and organize training and development of County enforcement and security officers
2. Liaise with relevant security agencies;
3. Investigating incidents
4. Conducting Institutional risk management
5. Manage Security intelligence system within the County Government
6. Execute periodic security surveys in County departments
7. Advisor to the County Government on security matters
8. Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor
