Procurement Manager

To deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of our visitors, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers.

Responsibilities

Oversee the Procurement role - Local, Imports & Stores.

Consolidate regional trading items requirements/orders

Source quotations and PFI's for imported items

Raise Imports PO's and approvals

Mange the imports process ( Application of UCR, IDF, Marine, Coc, entry payment & CD generation)

Forecast and payment of Custom Duty and taxes.

Vendor Evaluation

Supervise SBS Consignment stock of coils (STO's, receipts, inventory count & reconciliation).

Vendor Management (material follow up & payments for imported vendors)
Support SAP-MM Module (HD tickets for new vendors, new materials & plant transfers
Imported spares status and tracker

Trading items forecast and weekly report

Prepare Demurrage report

Disposal of obsolete/expired materials

Coordinating transport, civil works, service and maintenance contracts.

Manage SBS purchases - assist in sourcing of quotations and signing of the PO's.

Prepare Capex reports

Set Supply chain KPI's - departmental & Individual.

Develop and revise department’s JD's (to develop in 2018)

Draft and revise Supply Chain Sop's - Procurement & Stores

Job Requirements
Required education
: Bachelor's degree

Required relevant work experience
: 7 years

Required languages:
Swahili (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent)English (Spoken: fluent | Written: fluent),
