Access Afya is a social enterprise based in Nairobi that delivers primary healthcare to the poorest communities living in informal settlements. We take a chain of low-cost micro-clinics as anchors to our model, with a mobile field health team that reaches people in the places where they already spend their time – such as schools and factories.

About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer to come in and work directly with the Head of Product and internal teams and external partners to design beautiful products with great user experience.
Responsibilities
Design product User interface artefacts for our new products
Define a design language and design system that engineers will use as a guide to compose usable components that may not be defined in user interface designs.
Contribute to usability review sessions and participate in design sprints and brainstorming sessions
Iterate on UI designs based on feedback from brainstorming sessions and qualitative and quantitative feedback.
Collaborate with product engineers to ensure implementation of User Interfaces meets quality standards defined in the UI designs or otherwise make reasonable compromise.
Job Specifications
Minimum 2 years designing product user interfaces for technology products.
Experience designing rich interfaces presenting analytical data using charts.
An eye for good presentational flow making complex data easily understandable by humans with medium to low analytical skills.
Experience with Figma (preferred) or Sketch.
Understanding of Front-end UI technologies such as React is a plus
