DESCRIPTION
The role holder will develop and implement Bank’s Mobile Money strategy and ensure the Bank has an excellent go-to–market strategy for all Mobile Money Solutions and Partnerships to increase the Bank’s liabilities and customer reach through Mobile Money propositions, across the market segments. Additionally, they will consistently create differentiated Mobile Money propositions through innovation and partnering to grow the Bank’s profitability and to deliver on strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop the Bank’s Mobile Money strategy for Kenya liaising with the Head of Digital. Develop products and services to take advantage of existing/emerging Mobile Money opportunities Liaise with Corporate Communications/Retail/Commercial/Corporate Business Units for Mobile Money propositions marketing and rollout of new Mobile Money products and services. Create strategic alliances/partnership to grow the banks’ Mobile Money propositions market share. Define and document Product Papers, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), SLAs and Risk Management Frameworks for all Mobile Money solutions. Work with other support units i.e. Retail/Commercial/Corporate Business Units, Operations, Risk Management, Product Development, Fincon, Operations and IT to maximize products’ ROI/RO Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Digital.
Requirements
Qualification
A good first degree in any discipline or equivalent degree. Relevant Masters’ degree will be an advantage A recognized professional certification will be an added advantage. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a bank with at least 5 years’ experience in Digital Product Management, developing and growing Mobile Money propositions.
