Project Manager- Enterprise Fixed Data Services

Duties and Responsibilities;
Planning and Managing Deployment, Support and Preventive Maintenance of Enterprise Fixed Data Services including Wimax, LTE’s, Microwave, fiber e.tc.
In charge of the technical and NOC teams assigned to Deployment, Support and Preventive Maintenance of Fixed Data services.
Co-ordinate all technical activities required for on time service implementation
Monitor team performance and ensure project resources receive the training required to perform their duties.
Ensure quality, optimum delivery time (within set SLA’s) and best customer experience.
Ensure that the ordered services are delivered according to contract requirements.
Liaise, at any stage of delivery with other involved departments in order to inform customer on service delivery progress.
Reporting daily on project status/updates to clients and senior management.
Resolve problems by clarifying issues, researching, exploring answers and alternative solutions and escalating unresolved problems.
Maintain and improve departmental operating procedures, work instructions, databases, and systems for management of Deployment, Support and maintenance activities.
Advise clients and management of any project delays and provide resolutions or alternate actions as required.
Serve as a point of contact to the client and teams.
Attending scheduled meetings to discuss project progress and challenges, or when need arises.
Any other duty as may be assigned.

Education, Experience and Technical Competencies;
BSc in Project management, IT or Equivalent.
Certificate/Diploma in Engineering (Telecommunications) is an advantage.
Knowledge of Telecommunication Networks, Fixed Data services and equipment used is also an added advantage.
At least 2 years experience in a similar position.
Experience in a similar undertaking will be an added advantage.
Responsible for leading projects related to fixed data services,for corporate customers according to contract specifications and agreed time plan.
