KRCHN/MUYEYE/05/2024QualificationsDiploma in: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing from KMTC or any other recognized institution.At least 3 years' experience working in a busy inpatient facility2 years' experience in maternity and newborn experience'Must be a registered nurse.Registration certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.Valid practicing license from Nursing Council of KenyaCertificate in computer application.ResponsibilitiesAssessing, planning, implementing nursing interventions and evaluating patient`s outcomes.Providing appropriate health care servicesProviding health education and counselling to patients/ clients and community on identified health needs.Assist in Coordinating AMURT Mobile Health Clinic and medical camps when necessaryCarryout MNCH clinic and conducting deliveriesEnsure correct storage (KEPI) and administration of drugsReferring patients/clients appropriatelyFacilitating patients' admission and discharge plans.Maintaining records on patients/clients' health condition and care in the system including all consumables in the nursing departmentEnsuring a safe and tidy clinical environment.Regularly attend weekly departmental meetingsPrepare MOH reports and submit them to Sub- County offices on timeMarket Muyeye Health Care Centre services for more referrals and work towards meeting the set targetsperform any other duties and responsibilities as delegated by your supervisor.
