Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitoring patient outcomesProviding appropriate healthcare services including Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI), immunization, PMTCT, ante-natal care and deliveryProviding health education and counseling to patients/clients and community on identified health needsProviding critical care Nursing and patient supportProviding Perioperative Nursing care and SupportHandling and providing nursing care to mental health patientsFacilitating patients' admission and initiating discharge plans;Maintaining records on patients/clients' health condition and care; ensuring a tidy and safe clinical environment; andCollecting and compiling data.Performing any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.Requirements for appointmentKCSE CertificateDiploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, or Kenya Registered Nursing in Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institutionHigher Diploma in critical care or its equivalent from a recognized institutionNursing Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of KenyaValid practicing license from the Nursing Council of KenyaTwo (2) years' work experience in Peri-Operative/Theatre Nursing and care
