AD/4/81/24 - 9 POSTSQualified Kenyan candidates are invited to fill the above position on one-year renewable contract subject to merit, ability and competencies as reflected in work performance and results.Reports to Study Coordinator, Project DirectorKey responsibilities and TasksEnsure a seamless and coordinated running of the study at their sitesConduct recruitment, consenting, enrollment and follow up procedures for participants into the studyConduct tracing and retention activities for participants enrolled in the studyProviding timely summaries of study procedures and other reports as requiredEnsuring that the study sites personnel and study participants comply with study protocol.Job SpecificationsDegree or Diploma in Nursing or other health-related courseAt least 2 years as a research assistant/study nurse in a research study preferably in an HIV care setting.Certificates in Human Subjects Protection and/or Good Clinical Practice SkillsHave experience using a tablet/phone-based data collection tool like REDCap or Open Data Kit will be an added advantageEffective Communication skills in verbal and written formats in both English and Kiswahili languagesAbility to work under minimum supervisionGood time Management and able to make brief research reportsAbility to work alone and as part of a large research teamExcellent interpersonal skills, honesty and of high integrity.Computer literateMust be conversant with the study area
