Research Scientist - Kisumu At Kenya Medical Research - Kemri

Key Responsibilities:Searching for literature in electronic databases and other sources.Extracting data or information from selected primary studies using recommended tools.Resolving data discrepancies identified during data extraction and cleaning up of data sets.Quality assessment of included studies.Conducting preliminary meta-analyses under the guidance of the PI.Participate in the preparation and review of manuscript(s) for peer-review submission.Any other duties assigned by the Principal investigator.Vacancy Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in any of the following disciplines :- Biomedical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, Applied Sciences, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health or any other human health science from a recognized Institution;Have at least one year of experience in public health research;Have experience with evidence synthesis, data collection /or meta-analysis;Proficiency in computer application.Planning skillsCommunication and reporting skillsInterpersonal skillsTeam player
