The role offers opportunities for continuous personal development through organized training & merit-based promotions.Responsibilities:Customer Assistance:Greet customers as they enter the supermarket and provide assistance as needed.Offer guidance and recommendations to customers regarding product locations, promotions, and special offers.Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests with professionalism and courtesy.Maintaining Store Appearance:Ensure the sales floor, aisles, and shelves are clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the day.Monitor and replenish merchandise as needed to maintain attractive displays and prevent out-of-stock situations.Arrange products according to established guidelines and ensure proper labeling and pricing.Safety and Security:Maintain awareness of potential safety hazards on the sales floor and promptly address any issues to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.Monitor customer behavior and report any suspicious or unauthorized activities to management.Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of equipment and hazardous materials.Inventory Management:Assist with receiving and unpacking merchandise, checking for accuracy, expiries and quality.Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock rotation to minimize product spoilage and waste.Collaborate with team members to identify and address inventory discrepancies.Team Collaboration:Work collaboratively with colleagues from various departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer service.Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to share information, provide updates, and address any issues or concerns.Qualifications and Requirements:A certificate or diploma in any fieldProactive enough to undertake tasks without being told or foreseeing a need and addressing it.Proficiency in both written and spoken EnglishStrong interpersonal and communication skills.Attention to detailAbility to follow instructions.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
