Job Description

Our Client, a well-known international brand in the motor sector, is seeking to recruit a results oriented, hands-on Sales Representative to join the team based in Nairobi, Kenya.

Key responsibilities:
• Actively selling products to achieve targets by driving the value proposition to the customer.
• Selling key features and attributes of the products and demonstrating value to the customers.
• Proactively drive the deal process through all the stages, providing all the necessary documentation to conclusion.
• Following up on Customer satisfaction with equipment, after closing deals and handing over to After Sales service.
• Building strong working ties with cross functional teams to ensure that the company and customers’ objectives are met in a timely manner.
• Selling products within recommended prices and discounts as per company policy.
• Managing Debtors according to the company credit policy.
• Managing the selling and stock pipeline process for each order received and updating customers on the status of their order at every stage.
• Understanding of the market segments and the customer’s requirements, while keeping abreast of changing customer needs and addressing them accordingly.

Qualifications:
• Degree or Diploma in a Business related field or Engineering;
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales (preferably trucks);
• Must be fluent in English and be an effective communicator with customers;
• Adoptability and willingness to learn with respect to understanding local market/customers;
• Strong display of value selling, credit management and deal closing;
• Demonstrable ability to be organized and to influence outcomes.
