Software Engineering Intern

With offices in both New York and Nairobi, and the financial backing of prominent investors including TPG Growth and Data Collective, Gro is a diverse team of more than 70 technologists, scientists, and business professionals. Our team is growing rapidly and we’re looking for highly motivated, intellectually curious individuals with a shared commitment to building software that impacts the world on the most basic level.

Responsibilities

An internship at Gro provides a unique opportunity to be hands-on in helping build our core product. Software Engineering interns will be immersed in one of the following tracks based off their skills and interests:
Data visualization

Data API design and service implementation

Data storage architecture and optimization

Machine learning

Requirements:

Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms)

Ability to work in Javascript, Python, Java, C++

Passion for solving high impact problems with science and technology

Enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate program in computer science, engineering, math or related field; or relevant work experience
