Sous Chef

Reporting to the respective General Manager, the ideal candidate will provide an efficient and cost effective food service to the establishment

Responsibilities

Managing of Financial Resources including capital expenditures

Planning and developing menus aimed at meeting customer expectations as well as encouraging sales

Ensuring quality food and nutrition and timely service as per set criteria

Preparing and cooking meals and speciality food

Overseeing overall business budgets including monitoring of costs in the Department

Developing, training, motivating and evaluating staff performance

Identifying, implementing and benchmarking industry trends and management practices

Determining & coordinating Unit reporting and communication requirements
