Waiter

The ideal candidate will ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service. He/she will be tasked with taking orders, serving food & drinks, billing and removing dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. The successful candidate Must have at least 2 years experience in an established restaurant.Responsibilities Welcome and seating guests, in a friendly and professional manner.Maintaining the dining area in a clean and presentable conditionEnsure crockery, cutlery and glassware are clean and polished before service.Ensure that customers are correctly charged as required, present the bill and take payment from the customer in accordance with the procedures of the hotel.Assist in food/beverage cost control, control breakages of operating equipment and participate in stock taking as required.Prepare meal set-up as per meal service.Be totally familiar with the composition of the menu items for the day before start of meal service. Qualifications Have a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality.Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a restaurant.Good oral and written communication skills (English& Swahili).Must have good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.He/she should be a good team player.Must have excellent customer care skills.Willing to learn and very flexible.
