This position is primarily responsible for revenue generation through strategic alliances with customers. The Executive will identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability, and has responsibilities directly related to making sales to include: meeting with customers at the customer’s site, communicating with customers via phone, email, and teleconference, providing subject matter expertise regarding technical issues; advising customers on suitability of products and solutions based on their technical needs, preparing proposals, presentations, pricing and contracts, developing strategic plans related to the customer and the proposed solution.
This position requires an in-depth knowledge of understanding of enterprise level IT Hardware / Software, IP based hardware / software solutions as well as managed, IT and Broadband solutions. Must have the ability to research and develop customer solutions and work with partners to build capacity to sell and market these solutions.
The Executive assumes the role of customer liaison and project lead through the solution development, implementation and life cycle management of the product/service developed to meet the business customers’ evolving needs.
Responsibilities
Work requirements and tasks will be guided by the ManageIT Sales Division’s policies and procedures which is reviewed periodically but will fall broadly in the following Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
Developing and executing successful sales plans as well as monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products etc.
Contribute to market research, including identifying market potential and finding opportunities for growth;
Build and maintain long term relationships with new and existing customers through daily contact, making presentations, frequent visits.
Prepare commercial offers and ensure contracts to achieve assigned sales goals;
Creating awareness
Research and create target list of potential prospects
Generate sales opportunities by cold calling pitches
Arrange product/solutions/services demonstration
Serve as internal sales support for lead generation
Coordinate to ensure all presentations and follow up are accomplished as per timelines defined by the prospects/partners
Build strong qualified opportunity pipeline for sales
