ResponsibilitiesTranscribe in-depth interviews verbatim and in the language of the interview.Translate all text in interviews to Englis if necessary.Work closely with the study personnel who will be available to guide your work.Submit completed transcripts as soon as they are ready (and not necessarily at the end of the contract period)Present the transcripts neatly typed in the format provided by the PI.Upon review, make necessary corrections and edits to the satisfaction of the PI.Take notes during the interviews and dissemination meetings, as necessary.To perform duties as allocated by the supervisor.RequirementsForm 4 level education, Minimum KCSE C- or equivalent.Basic computer literacy, specifically in Microsoft WordGood written and verbal skills in English and KiswahiliExperience in data collection for research studies or other programs.Experience in data entry. Experience in translation and transcription.
