QUALIFICATIONS ,KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree in Numerical, Commerce or Marketing is required.

Professional papers- Insurance, accounting, or finance.

Customer Service & Sales experience will be an added advantage.

Technical Knowledge.

5 years’ experience in marketing financial services or marketing in the business.

3 years’ Employee Benefits products.

Responsibilities

Providing strong leadership in business development for pension products in order to ensure that contributions, funds under management, profitability and customer retention targets are met

Responsible for the development and execution of business plans and budgets for pension products.

Manages all contracted client deliveries relevant to each product line of the Corporate Business.

Manages client relationships proactively.

Provides alternative solutions and ensures cross selling of products takes place.

Manages a portfolio of existing clients (large portfolios) and recommends enhanced products to suit client's needs.

Manages the sales pipeline and is responsible for the delivery of the new business sales targets as contracted.

Continuous review of the market to monitor threats and opportunities from the competition.

Responsible for the retention of existing clients.

Reviews client product portfolio regularly.

Manages sales administrative resources and the output of these resources.

Be the product owner for the EB range of products.

Manages daily operational (client service and or administrative) delivery within the specific functional area.

Manages the sales pipeline and is responsible for the delivery of the new business sales targets as contracted.

Compiles customer value proposition as well as business model for entry into identified markets.

Ensures integration of new business opportunities with existing initiatives within the business.

Builds relationships and networks with external stakeholders and potential alliances.

Conducts presentations to introduce new initiatives and ensures buy-in.

Guides and directs staff to achieve operational excellence standards.

Develop the marketing strategy for UAP Old Mutual Life Pension channel to foster the achievement of set business goals.
