Main Purpose of the Job
TheMarketing Manageris responsible for developing creative content across allmarketingfunctions with a focus on wholesale and Retail functions of the business. Develop and oversee the fullRetail and Wholesale customerjourney. They shall identify market trends and develop marketing strategies and plans for both retail and wholesale business.
Responsibilities
Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns
Devising and presenting ideas and marketing strategies to management
Conduct marketing research and analyzing data to identify and define our target market and develop marketing plans to suit the target market
Developing and executing product launches, promotions and in-store activities
Compiling and distributing monthly financial and statistical information related to all Marketing activities in relation to approved budgets
Writing and proof-reading creative copy and also managing the relationship with our marketing agency
Maintaining our brand websites and reviewing data analytics
Organizing events and product exhibitions
Creation and Implementation of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to enhance customer experience to support loyalty programs that conform to data privacy standards as guided by the CEO
Support internal marketing initiatives in liaison with the HR department that align and support the organization’s culture
Monitoring performance of products, categories, campaigns in liaison with the procurement and demand planning team by ensuring that they have timely marketing insights
Managing campaigns on social media
Continuously maintaining a thorough understanding of the industry and products , market trends among other business intelligence variable
Leading and driving multiple end to end projects including private label development and ensuring on-time delivery in addition to the maintaining the marketing and brand guidelines as brand custodian
Connecting ideas, products, concepts to the customer through store design, visual merchandising, in-store communication, ATL, BTL etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
University Degree in Marketing and Communication and Marketing certification
Experience: at least 3-year experience in Retail & Wholesale Marketing with a strong knowledge of the Retail & Wholesale Space in the creation of in-store communication and retail & Wholesale brand concepts
Proficient with Microsoft office pack (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Illustrator
Strong project management and communication skills.
Experience handling diverse brands with international footage is an added advantage.
Language skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
