As Hostess, you will join a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional service where we believe that anything is possible, whilst having fun in all that we do!Interested then why not say Yes I Can! as we are looking for passionate people just like you!Key Responsibilities of the Hostess:·Providesefficient, prompt and courteous service by receiving, seating and presentingguests with the menu· Having athorough working knowledge of food and beverage menus, to be able to advise guestson selection and promote additional sales accordingly · Promotingadditional sales by taking opportunities to up-sell, in a manner that isprofessional and courteous · Addressingall regular guest by name with an appropriate title and maintain record of theirLikes & Dislikes in the prescribed format · Know all tables by numbers and seats, inorder to seat the guest on the designated table and assist restaurant team inservice when requested by the Restaurant Supervisor · Checks withthe Restaurant Manager concerning set-ups and last minute changes · Ensuring therestaurant reservations list is updated at all the times and tables are beingreserved accordingly · Ensuring thatthe cover sheet(s) is maintained and filed daily · Ensuring thatthe feedback forms are all filled with all details · Check with guests for their satisfactionand get feedback from guests · Assistscustomers in locating specific items · Keepshostess area neat and stocked with necessary supplies · Knowledgeof merchandise location or seating charts · Skillin communications with public · Farewells guests at departure · Daily closingprocedure is followed as per the set guidelines · Maintainshigh confidentiality in regards to guest privacy · Notifies the Restaurant Manager/supervisor regarding lost and found objectsimmediately · Reports allpotential and real hazards appropriately · Supports asafe hotel by applying hotel regulations, and adhering to existing laws andregulations · Maintains thehighest standards of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, appearance, bodylanguage and conduct · Stays updatedwith activities in the hotel by reviewing the communication log book for eachshift and updates log book for next shift · Assists theRestaurant when requested · Acceptsflexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to hotel guests · Continuouslyseeks to endeavour professionalism in own job function · MaintainAnniversary/Birthday list for all the guest, informing the Restaurant Manageron the said date · Maintain adata base for all guests · Attends scheduled outlet briefing andregular training sessions · Helps out in other areas when needed bythe management · Carries out any other duty that may beassigned by the management- Supports the smooth running of the food & beverage department, where all aspects of the guest food & beverage service experience are delivered to the highest levels-Works as part of a team that maximizes guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries-Takes responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner-Delivers on departmental plans and objectives, where hotel initiatives & targets are achieved-Collaborates with their immediate report, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained-Builds and maintains effective working relationships whilst promoting the company culture and values.-Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as requiredRequirements of the Host/Cashier:-Experience in food & beverage service beneficial but not essential-Hands-on approach with a can-do work style-Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry-Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned-Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence-Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms-Strong communication skills CAREERSJoin us in our mission to make every moment matter for our guests and be part of the most inspired hotel company in the world.
